Pizza by Piecora's

I'm still on a journey to eat as much pizza as
possible during my lifetime.

Do you want a good lunch option on Capital Hill? Of coarse you do...

Check out
Piecora's Pizza

Their standard lunch special is a Slice & Salad for $5.95. Which includes a large slice of pizza with up to two toppings and a green salad. This is the real deal people, not a small, flimsy slice of pie with a brown iceberg lettuce salad. Save the pizza hut delivery for another day and support this localy owned business!

For you late eaters, they got you til' 4:30pm for this special! Damn...that is happy hour.

ahhh...Vinces? Seriously!??! I have been to the one in south seattle. I had a friend that worked there.

Pizza is my favorite food...tell me another place besides Vinces...and some place off this hill.

Hmmmm --- at one point in my life Vinces was all that exsisted. But Tutta Bella opened in Columbia City, becoming once of Vinces rivals - i am not a huge fan (but again, biased).

I grew up in West Seattle - so there were a few places - "Spiros" was fun, and above average and a new place we tried last time we were in that neck of the woods - "Talaricos" alittle too much cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza for me - but it was worth the drive.

As far as "to go" type pizza - you dont know HOW bad I wish there was a LITTLE CEASARS pizza near me or somewhere. That pizza is BOMB for take out...

k we should all go to Vinces for the 50th anniversary next month - I will be posting a thang about it soon and asking L to do the same..they are gonna do it up big!

amongst west seattle heavy-hitters is pegasus, too. it sucks cause it's busy since it's on the beach, but go at weird hours and you'll get a delish pizza. it's a thicker crust, which isn't that chic right now, but it's super crisp and golden.

also, the greek salad w shrimp is seriously the bomb. im not a huge restaurant salad person, esp not iceberg, but this is the joint.

also, how can you go wrong with 24oz plastic cups? seriously.

ps, i like spiro's, too, but that constant thump/rumbling sound from the kitchen is too much for me to handle. it's so loud!!!'

their side salad sucks.

By far the best pizza (in my opinion) is at Serious Pie. It is a little on the pricey side, but worth it. It is not your run of the mill pizzeria pie however. The toppings are innovative and very flavorful and the the crust is thin and rustic.

Ah...Serious Pie. They sell 12 dollar pizzas and still serve Pabst...awesome.
